Memorial Day '03

This is a privately owned off road park, Coal Creek OHV , owned by Coal Creek Mining & Manufacturing Company.

This was my first trip out there and I must say I was impressed. It had tons of trails from mild to wild. The fee was $10 per vehicle per day. For this you have to purchase a permit for the day/year. There were many places around town such as; J's ATV in Clinton, Green's Kawasaki in Oak Ridge, Twin Cove Polaris in Jacksboro. You can also purchase these at the trail head on weekends. I didn't see a lot of camping near by, since we camped at the entrance, there are about 10 bare bones sites there. Oak Ridge, TN was about a 20 minute ride away and it had plenty of hotels and such.
