Trail Map 2

This is J.R.'s black YJ with our new friend John, of Central North Carolina 4x4 club, CJ-5 on it. We made this trip out to Uwharrie for several reasons. Foremost to test out my orange beast, and secondly, it was the last weekend of the forest being open.

So on with the pictures.. First we hit Kodak rock.

Here is  J. R. Miller, playing around on Kodak Rock.
The "Great Pumpkin" on its maiden voyage.
Playing around on Kodak rock.  It did fairly well.  No breakage this time out.  But I did find out that I needed to re-think my steering setup.  So I will be putting on a high steer setup. Stay tuned!
Here is John, with his yellow CJ-5. He said he bought 19 years ago for $800. Good Deal I'd say.

Whew! Hit it a little hard on that spot, for my first obstacle. But the "Great Pumpkin" made it out just fine. From here we proceeded to hit some easy trails, where I just decided to blow out a u-joint in my rear driveshaft. Had nothing better to do on some side hill. Then just before lunch break we found a little hole to play around in.

That last picture above is a brand new 2001 Jeep TJ, gotta love that.
