Cross Country Trip 2007

Well I received orders which means I must up and move from MCAS New River, Jacksonville, North Carolina to Camp Pendleton, California.  I actually have a house in Temecula, CA.  It took us about 6 days to do the trip, but we stopped twice to see some friends.  Once was in Winston-Salom, NC to see some old friends that had just returned from Japan and from there we traveled down to Dallas, TX to see some friends and spend the night with them.  We were not in a big hurry, I had the whole month of June to get there, so we mostly drove about 8 to 10 hours a day and stopped to see some sights along the way like the Painted Desert in Arizona and a few other smaller sights.  Ok, enough rambling and on with the pictures.

Getting BioDiesel for the truck.  I found some out of the way places that sold this, for the same cost of normal Diesel and actually did about a third of the entire trip on BioDiesel.  I could not tell a difference in the truck while running this and I was running tank after tank of it.  I have the plans to make my own so stay tuned it might just happen within the next year. Here are our two mutts hanging out in the back of the truck.  They did really well back there for the entire trip.
This is a friend of mine that lives in Dallas, Texas.  We stopped there and spent most of a day and a night there.  Awesome folks and as you can see, a former Marine.  Ooh Rah!  Thank you both for letting us stay there. Here is a Cadillac graveyard just north of Amarillo, Texas.  Pretty cool, those texans do some strange things.
The both of us in the Painted Desert in Arizona.  Awesome place with just absolutely beautiful views. And our crazy ass dog making herself comfortable in the truck.
Here is the house we got in Temecula, CA, it's a 4 bedroom with 3 baths and 3 CAR GARAGE! The main living area right off the kitchen.
The kitchen area. And of course, the Garage! This was taken right after the movers dropped our stuff of, it's a little neater now.
