Night Before Christmas

T'was the night before Christmas as I looked over the hill,
not one Jeep was stirring - every one of them still.

Their masters were feasting and glowing with mirth,
dreaming of upgrades - wondering what they were worth.
The idle machines were shinning and happy,
hoping their new parts would be cool - not crappy.

Most Jeep chicks had plotted, bought parts and were smug,
but some felt bad - had no hard present - just a hug.
The off-road guys are cool - not giving it a thought,
the sly grins knowing of that secret part they had bought.

Soon day will break - time to rev up and rock,
perhaps delivering a treat for grandma's Christmas sock.
Motors will purr - on every grill there's a grin,
our machines are just waiting for more adventure to begin.

Jesus has told us of the promise He'll keep,
we know He'll deliver because He drives a Jeep!
