Some pictures from my deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 02)

Here is a Jeep that drove along side us in the Suez Canal.  One of those long YJ's.

Here is a sunset during flight ops.  That is a Navy H-60 helicopter flying. Here is an armed Cobra taking off for security as we transition through the Straits of Gibraltar.
The Stars and Stripes flying high on the ship USS Bataan while underway.  To the right of it is the ship's flag. This is the African side of the Straits of Gibraltar.  A fantastic view as we sailed through it.
This is a friend of mine, on the right, and myself holding our parent squadron's new T-Shirt in front of the last Sadaam picture on base, right before they took it down. This is the Commandant of the Marine Corps with the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps when they visited our base.
Here is a MIG-25 that is just sitting around. Here is a windy day, and we have these like every other week, and they usually last at least a day if not more.
Now this is what I call a long distance plan!  Reach out and touch somebody, baby! This is what the enemy uses.
Come get some!! You have to appreciate precision guided bombs.  This is an Iraqi plane that is still left lying about.
Which way to Baghdad? A little escort for that convoy?  Thank you very much.
