A buddy of mine gave me his expired 6tp Camlock G-Force harnesses out of his road rally car.

Seems like a good excuse to do a little remodeling to the rear of the chassis.
I need to block off the rear section from the passenger compartment, relocate the radiator, and relocate the sway bar.
We'll see how much I actually get done....

It's been raining every day here so I pulled the front in the garage and worked there for a while. I moved the front end down 2" and let the front shocks out 3 more inches than they were before. I think this will really improve the ride. I had to go to a dual exhaust for drive line clearance, so it has the 40 series Flowmasters back on.....

I skinned the other side and pulled it out of the garage for spray-paint. I noticed a knock in the motor. My brother-in-law cam over and listened to it. We decided that it was in the top of the motor. The oil pressure is tit's.

I did a compression check and the #2 was way low. Pulled the head and everything looked good. Looked in the oil pan at the main bearings and they are wiped out again. God Damn, 4 fucking hours running on a new steel crank and bearings... and it's a boat anchor again. I think I'm averaging 1.2 trips per motor tear down, and 2.2 trips per motor.

He has another 350 in the shop we are going to start tearing into tomorrow. Cry Baby Cry Baby Cry Baby
