Johnson Valley OHV
Sunbonnet Pass
Dec 12th 2008
Got out there Friday afternoon and when Nick showed up, we headed out for
Sunbonnet Pass. It was an awesome trail but man, was it out there, took
like 45 minutes to get to it. And on the way there we found a wash to play
in, well I made it a vehicle length and got bound up bad front and back, so when
it finally decided to go in reverse, I was probably up around 3k rpm, and it
just lurched backwards, and I ended up on the drivers side.
Some folks didn't make it out to the Hammers that weekend and with me breaking the pillow block on a sand hill on my way back to the lakebed at night. We called it a night and in the morning when I was fixing the pillow block, I noticed the engine mounts starting to crack the frame, so that was it for the wheeling. We headed over to Cougar Buttes to show our support for Johnson Valley at the Fun Run they had out there.
Well here are the pictures.
